Yeah, sometimes they go down a political rabbit hole. Whether I agree or not I just would prefer to distance myself for a lot of that.
Action-packed stories seem great on paper, but if they lack heart, then nobody will care about what's going on, and you will have a story full of noise.

As much as I love fully illustrated covers, I find that getting the text to look good is always a pain. The issue is, how do you convey sci-fi/fantasy with one font?
Also, I like the look of the silver, but silver on gray is just awful to look at. π

Every now and then I'll write a paragraph and then realize I had already written it. The similarities are striking, almost word for word. It makes me wonder if it's fate π€
I cannot stop selling other people's books. While talking to folks at the booth today I pitched Star Crossed, The Time We Have, Tacklebox, Spire, and DIE.
At least a few folks scampered off to go find them without talking about my books π
