I think Amber fits you very well. :)
As a 50-something year old working mostly with 20 and 30-something year olds, I feel that pain nearly every work day.
A few years ago, I answered "Mork & Mindy" to an icebreaker question during orientation. The young woman from HR had no idea what that was. π¨βπ¦³
I would not. In fact, I feel personally insulted when I find myself reading something online that wasn't written by a human.
I'm glad to know he feels that way. I'm sure he considers the paperwork underlying his bank accounts, vehicle title(s), and personal property all equally provisional.
I think somebody needs to tell Andy that we're going to seize all his shit, regardless of any "paperwork" standing in the way.
Oh yes, I see your new watch now that you mentioned it! π
Way to stay ungovernable! π
Is it just me, or does the US nearly always make things worse in the Middle East when we intervene militarily and attempt to topple a regime?
We still don't have all of those Epstein files.
That's a good point. I can't prove that you all don't vanish from existence once I close my browser β only to be reconstituted when I fire it up and click that tab again.
Or maybe it's the exact opposite: I only exist when seen by you!
Are you currently contributing the environmental destruction of our planet?
A. Yes, I poured highly toxic chemicals into a lake on my way to work today.
B. No, but I feel a deep need to hurt animals and people.
Looking forward to unplugging from the world and reading for a while tonight. The world will continue its death spiral, whether I'm watching it burn or not. π
The pollen is starting to get to me this afternoon β and I'm inside next to a small air filter, not far from the household air intake where I just changed the filter last weekend. π«€
Figurines of Brady Bunch and Partridge Family fighting each other
I have created a diorama of the Partridge family attacking the Brady Bunch family. My life is very boring.
I genuinely had no idea that's what that word meant. I've heard the expression but never echoed it (thankfully).
Awesome! I believe I've got a roll or two in the freezer. π
Nudes in nature are the best kind.
A favorite emulsion of mine. It's been years since the last #FP4Party! Are we doing one?
It can be a fine line. Using an Auto button to optimize exposure and white balance can be considered a form of artificial intelligence. But those tools have been around for many years, and don't rely on stolen data.
i draw the line at tools that insert stolen graphic elements whole cloth.
Shame about the women.
Thanks, Paula. :)
I'm sure it's tasty, but the color scheme reminds me of old cookbooks from the 70s, with their copious jello molds and oddball colors. π
Managing a smile without looking like I plan to eat the viewer is tricky.
For this shot, I visualized a power portrait for some executive in a high tech company β so there's a bit of playful irony here as a mere peon. Might as well put my skills to good use! π
Thanks. When I sent it to HR a few minutes ago, I asked if they could please leave a bit of the tie in the photo. I got it just for this shot! Some companies like a really tight crop, so we'll see what they do with it.
Portrait of a middle-aged man in front of a dark background. He's wearing a light blue dress shirt and a tie with penguin prints. He's looking up towards the camera at a slight angle, arms crossed, and has a faint smile.
Taking a self-portrait is always a challenge for me, and the subject doesn't make my job any easier. π After puttering around with lights and some editing tomfoolery, I think this is a passable head shot.
The tie says IT professional, but the penguins say, "Microsoft software β really?!" #Linux
Jesus' prophecy about "wars and rumors of wars" before the eschaton continues to have zero predictive value.
War has been a reality for humans stretching back to prehistory, and there is no basis to think we're now living in special times.
He ain't coming back; it's up to us to stop the killing.
"Please won't SOMEBODY think of the children?!"
It's a total coincidence that Big Data and the government will have new ways to track you with these laws. #AgeVerification #Privacy www.theregister.com/2026/03/06/o...

Male, not "mail." π
Up to half my kingdom for a Bluesky edit button!
Tell me more about this Wheeler Jesus.
A nesting pair of hawks in the crook of a distant tree. One is resting in the nest. The other (presumably the mail) has just landed, and is standing looking in a different direction.
A male red cardinal perched on a backyard fence. Directly behind him, ivy grows up the side of a tree.
A pileated woodpecker, with its dramatically red head crest, holds onto the side of a tree.
A little amateur backyard birding this morning. The nesting pair of hawks are back for the 3rd year since I've been watching. I had to crop that image heavily, even at 600mm equivalent on an APS-C sensor. #Birds #FujifilmXT5
