It's a gangster drama, a train heist, and a noir thriller with urban fantasy stuff on top. And it's already set in the USA with an (I think) entirely white cast.

If it helps, it seems to be an alternate version of the first arc that has jettisoned everything but the "VRMMO Death Game" scenario. Like, there's no Kirito or Asuna to be seen, here. I'm willing to give it a chance.

Yep, this is why I still haven't played it. The controller support is so wonky, it's practically unplayable in Steam Deck.
