Thought I'd draw my OC as a test drive for this computer!

No touch screen means it might seem a bit more difficult as first, but I'll still try my best to get things completed as smoothly as before >ω<

However, I discovered something negative about this computer...no touchscreen.

That means I have to use a mouse to draw, meaning the linework will look a bit sloppier.

I'm gonna have to think about getting a drawing tablet to offset this setback...

My new computer has been set up, and I'm in the process of transferring files as I type!

I want to see more designs like Oddish, Hoppip, Zigzagoon, Starly, Shinx, Joltik, Skiddo, Rookidee, and other chibi species!

I don’t want a glob of underwhelming designs like Lechonk, Flamigo, Brambleghast, and Revavroom with only a microscopic amount of relatively unknown cuteness in the rough…

Between the first partners, only the fire one has a design that appeals to me…

Here’s to hoping the full list will have a good amount of cute AND obscure (not revealed early) designs; the very low amount of them from Paldea messed up my thoughts about all of them…even the two species I mentioned.

I’m worried that the set of new Pokémon will mostly be any combination of overhyped, uninteresting, and even ugly, like what happened with Paldea (of its introductions, only Dudunsparce and Tatsugiri were appealing)
Revealing virtually all the cute designs before release can easily mess things up…

By the way, I’m not really comfortable with sharing photo evidence of what’s been going on…

I know it’s easy to fake things like this, especially without photo evidence, but it’s true…

Rounded corners of windows do not appear, video playback is not anti-aliased, and no sound comes out from them. Programs even take very long times to load.

I also thought I needed a new computer anyway…

So…my computer just got messed up after an attempt to update drivers. The sound and GPU stopped being detected due to updates erring out.

As such, my family decided to order a new one. It’ll be a while before it comes…

Don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere; just unable to do much for the time being.

I thought @spikemeep.bsky.social designed a bunch of adorable characters, so I thought, why not draw a few more of them that stood out, including Chloro and Shape-Shifter as a pig?

Kithaki and Kit are such cute designs (they're by Blue-Kirb) so I wanted to draw them chibi :3
