Hello friends. Hope you all are well. Flying home tonight. Looking forward to bad movie night, pixels, and a much needed weekend nap. Enjoy some purple hair til I see ya next. Oh and my beautiful wife.
What’s folks’ opinion on using ChatGPT to help build out a narrative structure for a story? Not writing the whole story but helping someone organize their ideas into something coherent?
Need’s tweaking but should be a workable concept for my next setting.
None of the surrounding governments dare earn the ire of these clans, less their people turn on them for denying them access to the afterlife.
A collection of gnoll clans that are part of a nomadic culture that take the dead to the holiest places to ensure the souls are ushered to the appropriate afterlife. The location of these cairns are known only by these clans.
Anyone on PoE 2 got ideas on an armor break build for warrior? I like the concept but I feel I’m missing something important since my dps is not good enough to get through the first ascendancy trial.
I threw out my back sitting. Sit-ting. So much for PoE 2 this week (game is fantastic btw).
Before Roll20, I had a very good in-person D&D group. When our regular DM moved away, myself and another player would take turns DMing to continue the adventure.
One session, I went hard and designed a boss encounter inside a caldera. I cut out a few dozen hex tiles twice over, once as rock and
Someday, my man cave will have these things. More realistic would be having them in the garage. But I’m in the south now so less temperature concerns.
Had an idea to run a dice heavy D&D campaign like a roguelike. Start with a few classes and species, more added the further the players get. Not geared for roleplay so much.
Need self-care advice for making the next 4 years a haze.

I know I just got here and I know I wanted to share more about my D&D games. But frankly the spark is gone. I am a giant ball of anxiety and my capacity to run games is gone. This will pass and someday we’ll get back to things.
Tuesday night game marked the first official game using the 5e 2024 rules. Mostly social encounters so far with no combat yet. The campaign is just starting into the back half of its story, so I’m sure there’ll be plenty of combat soon. Anyone have recommendations for music?
Happy to announce my new official artwork for Dragon Age! You can buy a limited edition print on the BioWare website gear.bioware.com/en-eu/produc...
Rough night for the good guys. Will it be a TPK next week?
I totally forgot I had an account until a friend signed up today, anyway here’s Kairos.
@roll20app.bsky.social Hah! I learned how to ‘at’ someone. Check them out! Been my D&D home for 10+ years now.
Keeping the typo. Chips are delicious.
Slowly starting to convert my D&D campaigns to 5e 2024. Starting with the smaller, more experienced Tuesday night group. We play on Roll20, so testing things out slowly. We’ve done social and exploration challenges. Combat is next week.
My worst gaming habits:
- Buying multiple games even when I don’t have the time to play them all
- Saving my file after I saved which was after the game saved it for me
- Reloading my gun even though I have 27/30 rounds left
- Saving all my key items “for the end” and never using them out of fear

And lastly this is my beautiful wife Suzanne. I have been teaching her about football and now we enjoy our Sundays watching the Bears and 49ers lose. She also went to UT Austin and I lost a bet one year so here’s me in a Longhorns shirt.

I am also Scotch. He’s a gnoll. And sometimes I’m Gerrin. He thinks he’s a gnoll (but he’s a halfling). Artwork by Matt Spencer.
