Oh, so they are expecting significant losses now, eh? Landstuhl paused births, I heard too.

That's why the first spring-like day is greeted with trepidation here.
I mean, kind of, sure....
Again, I think Pete and I would have a very severe disagreement as to who the terrorists are....
I am sitting here watching the Seton Hall / St. Johns game. My name is Lorne, and I have a basketball problem.

The Soviet Union never died in these people, and Trump serves their purposes with his demented smile.
When I was drinking, I don't recall needing to show voter ID to purchase beer. Was I in the wrong place? Did I ask the city clerk for a six pack of Hacker-Pschorr when I did go to vote? Was I disappointed when the guy at the liquor store wouldn't give me his ballot? I drank more than I thought.
Yeah, a memorial service for someone else is not the time to talk about, well, that.
ICYMI...
It does matter. A shocking number of people were basically looking for an excuse to be their worst selves and, a decade ago and so on into the present, Trump gave it to them. They are showing you who they always were, but now they feel empowered to be that person. I hate it here.
Day and night bombing, sinking ships, decimating their airpower, over 1,000 civilians dead, retaliatory strikes across the entire region, begging for help from anyone still talking to you in broad daylight, considering a ground invasion, but it's a limited operation, eh?
I think there is something to this. If Trump wants to be Bibi's bitch, that's one thing, I suppose, but Bibi didn't build an offramp on this particular highway, and Iran is not interested in opening a toll plaza at the moment, so there is nothing to do but drive it.....straight into the ground.
I would love for these people to answer - "What was the incentive to take him at his word?"
I mean, I think I know the answer, and it has to do with a lot of racism and a smattering of shortsightedness, for starters, but to hear them tell it would be at least briefly fascinating.
My mind when my daughter says "I stan" in reference to anything.
The great thing is that eventually there will be no more mud in the backyard because Penny will have brought it all through the back door.
Great book, except I was supposed to go on a cruise and now I can't find the boat. Thanks a lot. Holiday ruined.
At last, Grok speaks the truth.
As someone reported yesterday, there has been no perceptible fracturing of Iranian resolve, at least among those in power. I suspect that any US invasion would be one of the stupidest things the US has ever done, and we have so many things to choose from in this regard.
I specialize in that. My wife isn't comfortable with me doing those bits all the time, but I keep telling her, "I know what I am and who I am. Believe me, it's funny when you think about it."
I guess I would rather have hot meatloaf....
Well, if their moms said so....
(I probably would stop in for that alone. LOL)
ICYMI: For thousands of years, we've heard "two weeks"
It's one of the few things I can think about, and you're right, it's nowhere on the news here. 180 kids will never grow up and discover themselves and have families or important positions or what-have-you, and the media here glazed right over that like it was no big thing. Appalling.

....and these are the same people that insist on English as an official language. Not even AI fucks up like this. Someone who is simply a terrible communicator wrote this, and it was checked and approved by someone who is also a terrible communicator and a very poor writer.
Me, walking into my son's room to find socks on the bookshelf:
"What genre are these?"
Nintendo's legal staff >>>>>>>>> DOJ
Yeah, you need to be able to pay out to underwrite. Minor detail that they should have considered, but....
