This is incredibly real, and often just as egregious in non-gaming disciplines. I spent most of my 20s working on a platform that is now mostly dead & forgotten, enriching other people (some of whom went on to... fundraise from Epstein?), and all that equity I was "given" got erased. For what?
As a cis woman myself, it's so obvious to me that any attempt to control gender identity is an attempt to control MY gender identity and expression too. Trans rights are inseparable from my own, so why wouldn't we be fighting for those every single day in every campaign? So shortsighted to ignore.
