Before the year ended, I tried to remove a Switch FPC connector for the first time but slightly melted it instead. Harder than it looks like on YouTube.
Happy New Year though! Next time's the charm. Just need to be more patient.

Internet went down half a day for me. Didn't really have any offline activity that's fun.
Should try to be less online ๐
I repaired some, broke others, and the rest needed an investment of tools I didn't have the money or time for.
I didn't sell any of them yet. I had some sort of usage for them. Like mostly for future use of supporting old devices from current software.
I went through a phase when I bought old, used, and sometimes broken devices like DSes, Switches, and even MacBooks. I wanted to dabble in DIY repair and try to flip some devices.
Sliders in various OSes and GUI are so inconsistent and flawed. Why doesn't macOS show the volume/brightness values or allow keyboard input after interacting?
And then there's me trying to keep a unique behavior of a slider in some UI framework that allows keyboard input simply by hovering it.
Just following the trends. Will try to post every day.
