What a great mom!

I learned to accept queer people (and that I was queer) because I met queer people and was exposed to queer media. Hiding these things from kids like this does nothing but harm. If I had such open minded media as a kid I would have had a much happier childhood.

This is cowardly and harmful.

When I was a child, I thought it was very normal for boys to like other boys and girls to like other girls. I only started to think otherwise when I was told that it was sinful, something that I had to unlearn over time.

Homophobia isn't natural. It is taught.
