This is what “government efficiency” looks like in practice: two guys with zero relevant experience, a keyword list built on culture war grievances, and a chatbot confidently spitting out 120-character verdicts on federal grants that went through actual review processes. The Postmaster General’s new policy that letters will no longer be postmarked on the day they are mailed is a disaster. For my constituents, a delayed postmark could mean late fees on bills, utilities getting shut off, or mail-in ballots not being accepted. Postmaster Steiner must reverse it.

After executing Alex Pretti on Saturday, ICE has shifted to primarily targeting bus stops and elementary schools in my community this week. I cannot overstate how much of the ICE activity in my community is just targeting places where little kids are.
