I’m developing a tegalharpa design to sell at this years rennesance faire circuit, that I will hopefully price reasonably low. The tegalharpa is a bowed lyre harp the ancient Norse people played, traditionally strung with horse hair. Honestly, this one is not far from closing the box.

Basically vintage 50s or early 60s Fender. Like what you would find in a Stratocaster. 8000ish winds scatterwound, 42awg wire and AlNiCo magnets. And a few other details I’d have to look up in my notes.
Thank you! I built my own winder, it has an adjustable speed knob, a switch for CW and CCW rotation and a counter, it is a pretty simple unit. It is pretty frustrating when the wire breaks and you have to start over again, lol. It is so gratifying when you get to hear your own pickups sing!!!
