Looking back, a good half of the OCs and NPCs I've ever made either had a close brush with death or straight up died and came back. Necromancy, ghosts and clones are a recurring theme.

The "Stride by Stride" Umamusume oneshot is over, with a Japanese exchange student becoming too big to fail and sweeping the competition!
It was a great time, despite the game lacking polish. Good table chemistry compensated for bad dice and lack of ways to prevent easy exploits.
I just earned my very first dollar from making TTRPG content based on stuff that lives rent free in my head earlier today, after one year.

I just discovered that one of the adventures I wrote had errors in the file metadata. People have been seing the wrong title for an entire year.
Good thing it was free. I would've never lived it down otherwise.
Lady Marielle is the type of posh woman who calls everyone a "child" in a very patronizing way. Doesn't help that she's usually the oldest in the room by a long shot.

This is the kind of thing a rich CEO says at the beginning of a science fiction movie to establish for the audience that he is a sociopath and the villain.
Once again I underestimated my tendency to yap clumsily as GM. The game had to be cut in two parts.
We ended on the the last player stealing the American Triple Crown from the top player, Rice Shower style. What a hype moment.
And the rival sketches are seeing use, too. Great game overall!
Ankou has no racing record, so one can wonder how she got scouted at all. Not only that, but the way she always keeps to herself and trains alone at night hint at something more going on.
