in theory yeah, my ThinkPad has one such drive buuuuut i think it is gambling at that point, and even buying a normal drives feels lik gambling with only difference is that you have warranty from manufacturer to swap it out

yeaaah, honestly if you find good kit of motherboard and cpu on used market that be awesome base for that, ddr4 thankfully is not as astronomically expensive and used ram is pretty safe to use too, i wouldn't buy used drives tho

I got that optiplex 5 years ago and now it gonna serve its higher purpose to be stripped for parts and used for relatively modern AM4 ryzen pc with my old rtx 3060 lol, but this is also a reason why computers good in general :v basically a lego set

then there is probably cheapest out of them all xp pen magic drawing pad, i have that thing and it feels a bit sluggish compared to even my old thinkpad but it is also workable and if you pick a new revision with slim pen it kinda a really nice affordable option too

If you go for ipads for art don't go for like most expensive pro version, better pick air, it is waaay cheaper and you don't really loose anything meaningful for art with airs, just gotta make sure it has pro pencil support. also wacom movink is pretty good choice.

Yeah! I recently bought drawing tablet as well and woah it was certainly unusual experience at first but i adapted pretty quickly. But now my arm hurts instead of my neck. 😭 There is no winning it seems.
