Why is it that all those staunch UK patriots waving flags and shouting about ‘taking back control’ are urging us to be subservient to a foreign power and join them in an illegal war?
The headline is right — but ironically in a completely different way. Using a Hezbollah drone strike on an RAF base in Cyprus as justification for allowing the US to bomb Iran from British bases — after the lessons we supposedly learned from Iraq — has certainly damaged Britain’s global reputation.
