I don't rep Adult authors, but this does look very cool!

ooooh, this looks really sweet! When you're ready, could you send your proposal to querytracker.net/query/Saribe...? I'd love to see it.
I'm so excited for everyone to get to read it and I'll share preorder links as soon as I can!
A book announcement from Publishers Weekly that reads: Irene VΓ‘squez at Levine Querido has acquired J de laVega's No More Coquis, a picture book following a Puerto Rican girl who's displaced from her island in the wake of Hurricane Maria. Publication is scheduled for fall 2026; Saribel Pages as Gallt & Zacker Agency did the deal for world rights.
Again, I'm chronically out of touch with social media but I wanted to share that No More Coquis will be in the wild soon!
I've always said books for younger kids need to respect the hard things they experience, and @authorjdelavega.bsky.social has always been able to do that with grace!
Hey so, that Microsoft Word subscription price hike email you just got? That refers to an AI-heavy version of MS which you can absolutely opt out of and maintain your current, βclassicβ subscription at a lower price. Thanks @lzats.bsky.social for the tip!
I can finally share the exciting news!!
The Last Session got a volume 2!!β¨ And a fresh new look for volume 1 as we move to Maverick!

Me holding my copy of my GHOST CIRCUS ARC
Pictures of the ARC of GHOST CIRCUS from various angles.
Got the advance reader copies of my and @yellghoul.bsky.social graphic novel GHOST CIRCUS π»πͺ (out in August!)! I am so beyond excited for this book and holding it in my hands is surreal!!
And that egregious typo is exactly proof of where my nerves are this morning π
I'm 3 for 3 on breaking out the day I have an call with a potential client, way to go.
Authors, I promise you, we get just as just as nervous as you are on The Call. We see how insanely talented you are and want you to like us.

Yes! And I'll be open starting tomorrow
And my sister's picking up a bottle from me!
And just like that, the first coquito of the season. Merry Christmas :)
Saw this and had to repost. <3 Credit to Marpal Embroidery for the work!
Indu dressed as the Little Prince, standing on the moon looking at a rose floating above him. In the background, Indonesian temples frame the starry space.
Quote from NPR review "You know a book is good when the fact that its hero was found wandering on the moon is the least interesting thing about him. This is a book with serious undercurrents about what it means to be LGBTQIA+ in a world full of so much pain." -Betsy Bird
Lunar Boy made it to NPR's 2024 Books We Love list!!
A lot of readers enjoyed the Le Petit Prince influences in LB, so here's a celebration of that πΉ

Garfield Thanksgiving float peaking from the side of a giant building, giving a sly thumbsup
May the menacing/seductive Garfield Thanksgiving float always watch over you, as it alone can keep the Jon Arbuckle growing inside you at bay...
I generally look for more grounded/low-tech sci-fi, but I'm happy to take a look!
I know! My fiancΓ© and I have reached an accord about keeping my maiden name(read: he's realized my name is too cool to give up, at least professionally)
Iβm notoriously bad at social media, but I so want to take an earnest crack at it this time. If youβre an agent, editor, or just a cool creative, Iβd love to connect and be friends!
And Iβve got more specifics in my wishlist here: www.manuscriptwishlist.com/mswl-post/sa...
Hyper-specific topics Iβll always keep an eye out for:
πEnsemble Casts/Found family
πQPR (queerplatonic relationships)
πTime travel/multiverse jumping
πNon-traditional sports (roller derby, parkour, pro wresting)
πTabletop RPGs (and it doesnβt just have to be D&D!)
Iβll be open to queries the first week of each month. Unless specifically requested, Iβm looking for graphic novels and picture books only and Iβm most eagerly looking for:
β¨Laugh out loud PBs with clever wordplay
β¨Inquisitive nonfiction
β¨Fun commercial MG with Ghibli vibes
β¨Subversive, angry YA
