The notion that the US would bring "freedom" to Cuba is actually obscene. The US effectively controlled Cuba for half a century before the revolution, and ran it as a dictatorship characterised by gangsterism, political repression, sex tourism, racial hierarchy and mass poverty.
What the US has done to Cuba, it does with any nation seeking true Freedom and Independence. This has always been US foreign policy. Want proof? Look at Haiti. Then Venezuela. Nicaragua. Yemen. Iran. Do we see a pattern?
