In Boston he said something like this but then followed that with “….so long as it’s on that list right there in that specific order…” lol

Was great in Boston the other night to hear this one.
Magical thinking
Most people won’t start it.

Happy Birthday!
As one does…
I met Dave Thomas once when I was in college and he seemed like such a normal guy that he would be deemed unfit to be a CEO today.
That’s good know actually because I very clearly remember the shirt but understandably lost interest in him after that and didn’t know that part.
That’s a perfect sentence right there
Feels like the right anecdote for the sir this is an Arby’s thing but IDK
You’ve just described the Mike Francessa show
This is the correct answer. Looking at this box of cereal makes me think of the worst of oatmeal raisin cookies. But good oatmeal raisin cookies are awesome.
Trying to think of one about the tour bus that dumped shit on a boat full of people in Chicago but I got nothing and that’s probably for the best.
Quite possibly he hears the voices of those somebodies rattling around inside his bloated orange head.
Oh I would pay money for him to interview Brian Cashman.
Fresh off of his Planter endorsement I’m done with this guy.
That’s weird I thought we weren’t at war
There it is …
It’s like he’s talking about catching the flu unexpectedly.
Not the point but he also looks like he was part of the villains in Karate Kid
Related, I just put a new board portal platform in place and the rep was so excited to tell me about the AI features and when I asked how do I turn them off he looked like a sad puppy.
Have been through this just now in a different context. Thankfully my head of IT is aligned with me on this and very well informed about how to keep our info in our own sandbox….which of course you have to pay extra for….
In general whenever I hear someone say “there’s no good music anymore” or anything like that it’s a tell for me about how uncurious that person is about music or more likely how little they care about it. It’s easier than ever now to find great new music.
Also very cool your dad did that.
When surgical robotics took off a big part of the appeal was that it would make mediocre surgeons better. It’s unclear to me if that happened or if it just allowed hospitals to do more procedures with mediocre surgeons. Anyway I still would want a very good surgeon with deep experience cutting me.
I’m right now in the process of evaluating CLM software and I’m interested to see how much of what each company promotes is actually helpful and how much is somewhere between bullshit and things that actively do something but not what I would want them to do. The hype is incessant.
Anyway I agree with your point above. The problem with people saying rock is dead or whatever is that “classic rock” has been so homogenized and repeatedly remarketed that the average person’s idea of what rock music is has become really narrow. Much more than when most classic rock was made.
I heard an interview with him last summer, he’s as grumpy as ever. But also apparently writing a new solo album. Complicated guy.
