For real! I moved down here to get away from the snow. I tell my children that snow is a 4-letter word. 😂😂😂

I remember doing a paper on “The Black Revolution” in history class my senior year in high school and was surprised and excited to find that Marion Barry was a founding member of SNCC. I grew up two hours outside of DC and had family up there. I got to meet him at my Auntie’s church one Sunday.

Yes! So cool!

Writing this scene a couple of sentences at a time because it has me SO emotional. I know it’s a first draft, but I hope I can convey this couple’s heartbreak.
