A Public Works vehicle dumps snow into the bed of a large truck on a recently plowed road.

As of this morning, Boston's @streets.boston.gov teams have hauled 2,594 loads—or 43,666 cubic yards—of snow off of Boston's streets to snow farms.

We're expecting nearly 300 pieces of equipment on the roads tonight to continue the work. ❄️

Snow emergency and parking ban lifted. The City of Boston's snow emergency and parking ban will be lifted at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24. Residents parked in participating discounted lots or garages have until 8 p.m. to move their cars before regular rates resume. You have 48 hours to use a space saver after the end of a declared snow emergency. Space savers are never allowed in Bay Village or the South End. Boston.gov/snow-cars

The snow emergency and parking ban will be lifted at 6 p.m. today, Tuesday, February 24.

Residents parked in participating discounted lots or garages have until 8 p.m. to move their cars before regular rates resume.

After 16 inches in Boston and up to 30 in parts of the MBTA system, the T will run reduced service on Tuesday while cleanup continues.
