when I was studying UC2 the other day I discovered that my aiming basically feels exactly like third person in that aside with much more aggressive auto aim. though in that its like that 100% of the time and in my framework its just when aiming
I downloaded Bryce 4 the other day and have had a blast tinkering with it. It's rly easy to get into and itches this specific part of my brain only this type of 90s CGI can reach. I wish I had known about it back in like highschool because I would've made a million renders with it for diff projects.

It's very easy to make a nice reflective ocean scene in Bryce out of the box, but surprisingly difficult to do an underwater one.

I'd hope it goes without saying but no use of ai and I won't ever be using that shit. I hand painted and color corrected this myself along with the other aspects. hell its even a huge mess cause its just for a silly theory I have about two games that like nobody care about lol

now that I'm thinking about it, its a weird design for Kai it looks nothing like him. however it does look like some scrapped model for Othello from an art style change, and honestly the japan theme is more inline with UC2 than UT3, making me think they were originally supposed to be a team in UC2
also far from the only connection between Unreal and Mortal Kombat
Was Kai from MK armageddon a reference/influnce to UT3's Ronin? or the otherway around? Also did they have the same designer behind both?

I plan to have textures tied to the main body texture atlas, and individual bones tied to body parts, however I can give them unique textures/materials if needed.
Narratively there are a few good reasons we should use this system. overall this will make things easier as we make more body parts
but yeah in 2k4 characters have skeleton models assigned to them and these can be unique per character, something I never really thought about. since there are alien races and robots they had to do it this way.
So I had always intended to add physical skeletons to frontier, however after digging into player models in UT2k4 made me realize that I can do a lot more with them.

there has been a huge crackdown lately on local mexican vedors, and it really sucks cause they've all been replaced by white women....
some of these people travel 2-4 hours to sell stuff here

while I'm at it I'm working on cinematic variants of the heads too, I'll also be making a larger variety of Fyrren head/muzzle shapes. I still need to make a bunch of ears/tails/etc as well

The recompiled PC version of Duke Nukem Zero Hour got a mod that allows you to play it in first person with mouse + keyboard support, really awesome
