Ehhhh, that sucks. Especially because you're right, it'll probably become Funko Hellscape.
Ehh, what, did it close? Was planning to pop in when I'm up tomorrow an' all.
It's not just you, I have no clue what he's saying for most of it.
Mine is celebrating its quarter-century this year. No idea where the time has gone. 😅
This industry is way too obsessed with Steam concurrents.
I don't really do Lego these days, but I absolutely need this. More votes please!

In general, or upcoming? Obvious general ones are the derbies:
- Southamption v Portsmouth
- Ipswich v Norwich
- Sheffield Utd v Sheffield Wednesday
- Blackburn v Preston
- Birmingham v West Brom
Could probably add Wrexham v Swansea to that now, with it being Rob & Ryan vs Snoop Dogg 😅
Absolutely heroic performance vs Manchester PGMOL United. HOWAY THE LADS! ⚫⚪⚫⚪
We also need to tell Palantir to fuck off back to Mordor.
I really enjoyed Planet of Lana 2, it builds well on what the first established and raises the bar:

Not surprising given the "new Xbox is just a Windows PC" talk.
Also could loosely be a symptom of the RAM situation, especially if the lifecycle of the PS5 is extended. When everyone is fighting for scraps, why help the opposition?
Ordered mine. Maybe it'll finally give me the kick up the arse I need to properly start work on my RPG Maker project. 🤣
Congrats fella!
I also think the industry has a problem with hyping up games made by a slice of a team that worked on a previous megahit.
It's like the Hollywood "from the producers of XYZ" thing. If you don't have *all* the ingredients, it's never going to be the same dish.
a graph from Highguard game director Chad Greiner that shows PS5 was the biggest playerbase for the game by at least 100%, following by Xbox, then Steam.
This is from Highguard's game director and more proof that we ~really~ need to stop reporting on Steam's numbers as if they are always the commanding metric. In this case, the Steam playercount was the lowest (ironic, given how many reports and takes and posts were made about its Steam concurrents)
I went through a phase at school where I'd only write with a Pilot V5, my teachers hated it because my writing was tiny. 😅
That article is ridiculous. Are we really meant to feel sorry for Petra "Literal Billions In The Bank" Ecclestone?
Happy birthday!
Cake for breakfast is always a good idea.
Finally, the announcement we all needed.
Yeah, I'm going to have to pick this up. Sounds ideal!
"Chart the depths of an otherworldly labyrinth" = explore every single inch of a map as a main mechanic? Yep, sounds exactly my jam.
I'm 40 hours into Octopath 2 and my main team are ~Lv. 55 having only finished 6/8 Chapter 1 stories because I've just been exploring the entire map. 😅
Exactly why the recent ones were 'just enjoyable' instead of something outstanding, something that took over my mind and made me unable to focus on anything else.
I don't want HD-2D remakes of the old ones. I want them to give a new mainline game to the Octopath team. It'll never happen though.
Yeah, XII is definitely the start of the more action-oriented form over ATB with the gambit system. I enjoyed it, and the Zodiac Age version is much better, but it's definitely a YMMV situation with that one.
I've not played XV at all. I keep meaning to but every time I do I think 'there's something else I'll probably enjoy more'.
XII was probably the last one I was super invested in, but that was probably because it was my crutch when I had no work for a whole summer in my Poland teaching days. 😅
While I enjoyed FFXVI and Rebirth recently, I'm having far more fun going through the Octopath games.
Kinda sad knowing the next mainline FF is probably going to be even more like God of War/Horizon/Any Other AAA than an actual FF game.
Shogun is a must, I also really liked Paradise.
The Diplomat, Black Doves, The Night Agent, Dead to Me.
A couple of weeks ago, I had the honor of interviewing Nick Apostolides (Leon) and Angela Sant’Albano (Grace).
Two very cool humans and two great interviews. Give them a read!
