I love the short story form. A couple of thousand words can say as much as full novel. And the story can then stay with you for hours, days, week months or even years.

I love this time of year - but then I usually like whichever season I'm in. I'm not so keen on those darker and colder days in January and February when it's still quite dark and pretty miserable out of doors but I can already see my bulbs coming up in th garden.
