I’ve heard from riders of the 47 Lansdowne bus that there have been some significant delays along the route, so I’ve been working with the TTC to make some adjustments to make the ride much smoother.
Service is expected to improve by the end of this month.
It was initially part of Metrolinx’s Davenport Diamond Greenway project, but City had to step in to make it happen. This will connect residents to local parks, schools, businesses – and to each other.
I’m so happy to share that the proposed 2026 budget includes funds to build a key east-west connection between Antler and Lappin streets.

108 Harrison Street will soon welcome a new family shelter operated by Red Door Family Shelter, supporting up to 32 families.
Community members are invited to a drop-in night to meet Red Door staff, City partners, and Councillor Alejandra Bravo, and learn about this new community resource.

It was great to join Mayor Olivia Chow to announce fare capping in 2026. After 47 rides, the rest of the month is free! This win for transit riders reflects years of community advocacy for a fairer system. I will continue to support and work to lower the cap so that transit remains accessible.

At the November Toronto and East York Community Council meeting, I introduced resident-supported motions for new traffic-calming on Davenport streets. These measures will help slow drivers and improve safety, especially after the Province removed Ontario’s speed cameras.

Installation of the RapidTO priority bus lanes along Dufferin Street, from Dufferin Station to King Street West, begins this week. Work on the first segment, Dundas to King, will take place overnight starting November 7th.

I checked in with some neighbours who phoned my office because plows still haven’t come.
