The irony is that what is dragging down their businesses (private credit fears) is the business they lost after 2008 that likely contributed a good amount to that very multiple purgatory they found themselves in
Pretty amazing that heading into 2026 there was a strong argument across the street that the banks could really see the multiple expansion (~20x) people have waited for (decade+) ... instead we're seeing multiple contract that is taking some names close to 10x or below ...

Also, they did not raise capex guidance for the current FY26. Which at this point is a positive
$ORCL is still expected to do an ATM equity raise along with the $30bn in debt they already raised for a total of $50. Whether they anticipate the remaining $20bn to be all equity or a combo of equity and debt, the current after market increase in the stock is more than the $20bn they need ...
