Many say that Americans will not fight back (revolt, riot, upheave, pick a word) until the economy collapses, which it very well might in the next two years.
It’s probably true, from a sociological perspective.
But I’m not sure that the people can afford to wait until then.
Any assessment of current US politics that doesn’t start from the understanding that the Trump admin is building a plurality of strategies to circumvent the midterms and 2028 elections, is inaccurate. We can already see multiple strategies being readied— Insurrection Act, SAVE act, etc.

Well, now that he’s done threatening Greenlanders, I guess Trump is going to go back to focusing on Americans. He’s probably also not done with Iran. It’s gonna be a fun year!
