Haven’t been on here for a while but I’m here to say I have loved reading the Book of the New Sun by Gene Wolfe this past year. Plus Fable really nailed my style

I’m starting a Star Wars rewatch. Going in order of release. I don’t think I’ve watched A New Hope since I was a kid. This movie is great and I’m appreciating it so much more as an adult. I can see why people fell in love with Star Wars when it was originally released.

You’re the man, David. You deserve all the success in the world. I have always admired how much attention to detail goes into your work. I never understood how you were able to balance work with SKTCHD and Off Panel. Here’s to hoping you’re feeling very fulfilled!

The Gom Jabbar podcast on what Dune can teach us about AI was amazing and one of my favorite episodes. Thanks, @abuzafar.bsky.social! I’m still personally terrified of the upcoming AI uprising and am very happy in my very Luddite job.

I will continue to sing my praises for the Gom Jabbar podcast from the rooftops. Abu and Leo put so much time and effort into making it a great show.

Plus I’m already seeing downsides of AI in my industry, which relies heavily on human relationships. Lots to think about.

I’m rereading the original Dune as a book club with some friends. It’s such a joy

Eidola nails it yet again. Mend feels like it was made specifically for me. Godhead: Final Temple is such a standout

I’m totally with that. I thought I had heard somewhere that the band was hoping to make a graphic novel as well. I hope that’s the case! The change will be tough no doubt though. We’ve been with this story for so long!

Great point about Prodigy. I’m also a huge Issues fan and a huge fan of the heavier side. I really love the singles. Eviscerate and Mend is basically a dream come true for me

The season finale of Dune Prophecy really delivered. Especially given that we already know it’s been renewed for season 2. Here’s to hoping for 12 episodes in season 2!
