I need to change the way light attenuation works in the engine.
Though I really like the previous visual style - the way light sources worked leaked to much light way beyond the light source's range.
Since light will play an important role in gameplay I needed something more readable and classic:
I finally added entity composition to the engine. To test it I made some torches - composed of a mesh, flipook animations and audio source (via #SteamAudio) π

I played the demo for Queen's Domain during my lunch break. It's absolutely gorgeous. If you are craving for a King's Field-like game, then this one should be at the top of your list.

The final feature I worked on in 2025: mesh entity highlighting.
Itβs a simple white color mix - going full OG Thief style.
Will be using it to highlight interactions to the player.
