A library kiddo is busily making me soup in our play area at the library - the ingredients: pretzel, grapes, ice cream sandwich, potato, red bell pepper, tomatoes, and a
slice of cheese pizza. They did know I’m a vegetarian and except for being deathly allergic to grapes I guess it passes the test.
When the sub you had lined up to cover the Spanish storytime calls out you have to pull on your big girl pants and figure stuff out. 💪🏼

Ice Dance has always been a game of politics. Can be disheartening to watch. This one though was especially hard to swallow- they are just bad people.
Have been spending the week answering texts from family and friends on the ins and outs of figure skating judging.
Know my professor will be disappointed but I will probably forget almost everything about cataloging as soon as this class ends.
Finished my schoolwork, took my quiz and now I’m kicking back and catching up on Olympic fun.
Sigh - got a couple wrong on part 1 of the test and will have to wait to see how I did on part 2 - still hoping for at least a B.
I did not cry at my cataloging class practice session tonight - well that’s a lie - tears happened. Test 1 is due by Sunday night - send all the positive thoughts.

My Noon Year’s Eve Music and Movement library program was a fun time for all - Running across bubble wrap for the win! However, the best part is I’ve already done a countdown so I’ll be in bed by 9:00 - probably would have been in bed by 9:00 even if I hadn’t done the program 🎉

Been pretty quiet at the branch I’m at today but a family just walked in and the little one looked around and said “All the library toys are free - I don’t have to wait for any of them!” And off they ran to play kitchen. ❤️

No, just the one. I did see people mentioning multiple rejection ones. Reminded me of PLA sending me a rejection followed by an acceptance followed by a sorry e-mail saying the rejection was the right one earlier this year.
