You donβt get to thank veterans for their service and then gut the VA.
Donald Trumpβs reckless DOGE cuts have eliminated tens of thousands of VA jobs where about a third of those workers are veterans themselves.

Republicans spent 17 months on Benghazi because 4 Americans were killed.
Itβs been 3 days and Trumpβs illegal Iran attack has already gotten 6 American soldiers killed. He promises more will die soon. And Republicans donβt care.

They only care about government overreach and law enforcement abuse when THEY are the victims of it.
Retired ICE agent Eric Balliet agrees with my assessment. Jonathan Ross had no business being in front of Renee's car AT ALL. He created his own peril.

If this goes to court, this ICE agent is going to prison.
Cops are not permitted to take position in front of cars where there is a situational awareness the driver may flee. Cops who do so are found in court to have created the risk of collision with the vehicle. Ergo, the driver is not responsible and deadly force is unjustified.
CNN released the video recorded by the ICE shooter, Jonathan Ross.
It definitively shows textbook "officer-induced jeopardy."
Star Tribune has identified the ICE shooter as Jonathan Ross.

Moments before he fired the first shot, you can see him leaning in. The angle of his gun makes it clear that he was stepping to the side while leaning in to take the shot.
THIS is the frame that shows definitely that the ICE agent was not struck by the car. He cleanly stepped to the left, both feet clearing the vehicle. He LEANED over the hood of the car to line up the first shot.
Frame-by-frame analysis shows the ICE murderer WAS NOT hit by the car. Position of his feet show he cleared the vehicle BEFORE firing and leaned over the hood to fire the first shot through the front windshield. He is then seen running after the vehicle to fire again.

There is no hack for turning a Garner-prohibited shooting into a justified one by standing in front of a car that may flee -- like an untrained law enforcement idiot.
Cops CAN shoot at vehicles attempting to ram a stationery law enforcement roadblock (even if it's just their police car).
Cops CANNOT position in front of cars and manufacture the risk to justify shooting the driver.
NYT just released a damning forensic analysis of the ICE shooting in Minneapolis.
It flatly refutes Trump administration claims β confirming the motorist was driving away, not toward the officer, and the officer was not hit by the vehicle.

I also received deadly force training from the US military. Can confirm.
Former career prosecutor reviews the case and finds Renee Nicole Good was an example of "excessive use of force" and the agent must face justice.

Legal precedent would label this, "manufactured risk." There was no justifiable reason for him to be in front of a car that could flee. Therefore, when Renee attempted to maneuver around him, he created the risk of being struck by her car and he responded by murdering her for his negligence.
The pivotal question for me is: WHY was the ICE agent was in front of Renee's car at all? When he saw his fellow agents approach the vehicle, proper training would have dictated him to MOVE HIS ASS because suspects can flee. He didn't move because he was busy farming TikTok views on his phone.
The Garner citation refers to Tennessee v. Garner (1985) where a teenage Edward Garner was fleeing from police on foot. Police shot and killed the unarmed teen. The case went to the Supreme Court, who rules cops cannot use deadly force without establishing a threat first.
Here is the notation. The suspect must have telegraphed a threat with a weapon or there is probable cause of a crime has been committed which implies the threat.
DHS permits deadly force against a fleeing suspect only if there is reasonable belief the suspect present a threat.
Please, note the tiny 8 superscripted at the end.
