Wish it had modded audio as well, but either way this is a fever dream in all the best ways.

I was looking for videos on YouTube about NPC simulation the other day, and I was honestly disturbed by the number of high-view-count videos YT was pushing about "NPC Theory" - aka "Solipsism For Kids".
Not sure I've ever seen a more toxic online bubble before.
A photo of Majora's Mask, Japanese, sealed in box.
I don't think of myself as a "collector", but the moment I saw this in a store I said the exact same thing lol.
I personally won't give them any credit until this is a opt-*in* toggle tbh.
A screenshot of the website "your ai slop bores me", with the request "pls draw a small wizard". Below the request is a perfectly drawn small wizard with bunny ears.
"Hello. The Internet? More of this sort of thing, please. Yep, just keep it coming."

Run leftover pizza under the faucet briefly before microwaving.
Tbf a triple digit salary actually sounds pretty affordable for what they're apparently getting.
A screenshot of DALL-E mini, with the prompt "A picture of someone having a fun time" and an AI generated nightmare-fuel image of two demonic looking people with massive smiles. Several other thumbnails are below as well.
The world would objectively be a better place if this is where Gen AI had settled:
I've worked very hard over the years to become the person my child self needed.
Someone thoughtful, kind, playful, and secure.
But that child doesn't exist any more.
This is like putting a bandaid on an infected wound.
You need to address the (glaringly obvious) problem at the source before we, the people, address it for you.
This doesn't really address the problem though, does it?
The problem is that corporations are stealing every last cent from us by withholding essential things like groceries.
A tax benefit just means they'll raise prices again, it's just a deferred way to make those at the top even richer.
Dear god I hope that's true, cause I'm honestly starting to wonder lately.
This is what I loved about Schitt's Creek, a show about a small town with no hate and no prejudice, presented as though that's just how things normally are.
There's still great stories and conflicts to be had, but they're able to strip away that base coat of society and portray something deeper.
A bold new direction for Delve
fake windows 95 dialog superimposed on a smaller win95 desktop: Scheduled Horse_ Moment.Exe Please stand by for a scheduled Horse Moment. You will now contemplate and reflect. This is a time of seriousness. You currently have scheduled Horse Moments turned on. You can not change this in settings.

Hot take: I could not ever fully trust a person that does not immediately choose "Dialogue" here.
Had Abraham Lincoln not died, today he would be 217 years old and 97 feet tall.
I'm against an AB PST for two reasons:
1. Sales taxes disproportionately affect lower-income households.
2. I'm not particularly interested in handing the UCP even more money to toss at O&G executives.
We should be talking about taxing wealth and capital gains, not sales. Kill both birds.
Lost media archivist on tumblr named robindaydream found these screenshots from the canceled NES port of Caves of Qud
What's so amazing about Jim Henson as a puppeteer is that he could literally be explaining that Kermit is made out of felt and ping pong balls and yet Kermit still feels alive the whole time he's doing it
Not meaning to sound reactionary to your post btw, just a general observation.
I'm also hoping a collapse of capital-G Gaming frees up the space for indie studios to thrive.
I still genuinely don't understand the drama surrounding the "gaming industry". There are so many incredible indie games to play, and more are released every year than I can possibly keep up with.
Anyone that doesn't exclusively play high-fidelity shooter games should be living the gamer dream rn.
"Mayhem can provoke a rash of traumatic baby hauntings, goblin highwaymen can be grabbed and thrashed about by their individual teeth, andβas one Dwarf Fortress player recently discoveredβsometimes your soldiers might just burst into flames in a way that requires a panel of experts to diagnose."
In their defense though, with the cost of education being so incredibly high now, I do see where they're coming from.
When that class is costing you a significant amount of money while also taking time away from you from what you intended to learn, I can honestly understand the resentment.
I had the same reaction in Computer Science. We had to take a few liberal arts classes for our degree, and I was pretty much the only one that actually tried to learn anything from them.
Everyone around me saw them as nothing but a roadblock.
