All in all, medical transition is objectively a good thing. It's the professionally agreed upon treatment for most cases of Gender dysphoria, and that's for a reason. It saves lives, even if it's "not important to trans people," which I've never heard to be honest.

I believe what is important to most trans people is feeling good about themselves. And the best way to do that for the trans people I've met, is HRT at a minimum. And 3 (including myself) of them also want bottom surgery. 1 of them is transmasc and also wants top surgery.
