Nice. Nnnnnnice. A lot of heart is already put into this, and more to come.
Long, long, long ago, I visited Hawaii and wanted to see some places - which this series now brings to light. I had a local person as a guide, and we rode her motorcycle from place to place, listened to stories one after another. Best $40 & six hours spent ever. The fish tasted great, too.
This is my Chief Of War appreciation post. Holy shit that black lava field fight episode. And everything. And THEN I learned Mr Momoa directed the episode. Wow. That was awesome, brutal and epic as fffk. (Watched that also sound muted and it still grabbed me. Really well done.)
Imagine if all music inventions were treated the way AI is. βThe bassoon is an inevitable part of music now. We have to learn to live with it. You must find ways of incorporating bassoon into all music you create because the line between human and bassoon will soon become erased.β
Haiku so lovely
I bursted into laughter
I can feel your pain
Yep, soundcloud went all effed up with AI and I have to find an other camp for the files I had there, maybe I have something soon - Bandcamp seems pretty okay. All ideas welcome, though.
CONTROL Resonant announcement art. In the bottom right corner, you can see Dylan Faden standing on top of a destroyed Taxi that is being taken over by the Mold. In his hand he holds the Aberrant, a shapeshifting weapon that is currently in form of a large hammer. In front of him is a warped Manhattan city scape with impossible geometry. From the bottom of the screen, Hiss corrupted people are floating up and at the top is a mysterious cosmic entity.
CONTROL Resonant releases in 2026! Take on the role of Dylan Faden, as he fights to save humanity from a mysterious reality-bending cosmic threat.

Suurin este suomalaisen musan ja leffojen kehitykselle on, ettÀ fanihenkilâarvostelut eivÀt vastaa mitenkÀÀn tuotteen todellista tasoa, ja pahimmillaan rapauttavat julkaisevan aviisin mainetta. On selvÀÀ, ettÀ 1.5-2 tÀhteÀ voi jÀrjestÀÀn nippaista helvettiin.

Goddammit! β€οΈ
Aaaand have a good one! π
I have those, but in black. COOL STUFF!
Iβd love to find an Emulator II or III. Used to have four E4xt Ultras plus an E4 keyboard and am missing that certain punchy sound. Converted my whole E-mu library to Kontakt too many years ago. Been in-the-box since 2000 or 2001.
Iβm glad to answer. Most sold stuff had quirks, and early processors/midi were usually very laggy, not coherent and midi lag was sometimes varying a lot β synth gets sold. Or, the UI was shitty. Or calibrating was a pain, or this or that. What Iβve kept are solid pieces that are bliss to work with.
I had a virus, but sold it long ago - one of the chips started acting up, and had it fixed, then dumped it. Same with Nord Modular G2X. Just heating up, then garbage out. Centennial DX had an expansion that made programming it a tad awkward. And the gold plates kept falling all the time.
I sold a few of those, mostly due to maintenance costs and workflow changes. Some of them are retired and in flight cases. I found no fun in chasing old chips for Oberheims, for instance. DX7 was crap, noisy, and FM8 is easier to use. Theyβre tools, and no emotional ties to anythingβ¦
Forgot the Hartmann Neuron VS. I had a fullblown one, but sold it due to various reasons and noticed a VS ran perfectly in an old computer. It still does, by the way. Some pics were in my then Twitter account (no longer exists).
Pedals: some distortion and cheap compressors, a few odd delays and a very cheap zoom pedal for bass effects. Most of the effecting was in the box and a shitload of plugins all over the place.
Oh, there were quite a few. A modular synth, Studio Electronics Se-1x, omega 8, Oberheim Matrix-12 and XPander, Kyma, Haken Continuum, John Bowen Solaris, Macbeth m5, DX7 centennial, Nord Modular G2X, Roland JD-990 and a V-Synth XT⦠er⦠something is missing⦠oh, a little MemoryMoog and a Voyager.
