Tis the night before Christmas
And all through the land
Some comrades are waiting
For folk they can’t stand.
It won’t last forever -
Around half a day.
They don’t like you either.
They’ll soon go away.
I have one somewhere!
19th December 1971. Electric Warrior, my favourite album of all time from that day to this, hit No1 in the album charts. The first album I bought: the second one I owned. The first was the double of Jesus Christ Superstar, bought for me for my birthday by my mum. I prefer the Laibach version.
I’d rather go to a Coldplay gig in a Palace shirt and flares than set foot in Clarkson’s bloody pub
Archive of my 45 years as Attila the Stockbroker now complete, having brought countless ancient rotting plastic sacs of press cuttings and fanzines and photos from 4000 or so gigs in 26 countries down from the attic and spent 4 days sorting them out. They will be appearing here at regular intervals
The BBC lets Farage use it as a personal propaganda channel but forces @robinince.bsky.social off air for being too left wing. Bloody hell, this country’s mainstream media is a disgrace.
And deservedly so!
Starmer’s Labour is like a less self-aware and competent version of Millwall FC. No-one likes them, and they do care, but they haven’t got an inkling what to do about it. Their PR department is so awful it actually highlights their own policy errors and ignores the good stuff they’ve done. Weird.
Give me Penny For the Guy anytime.
A DIY punk fest compared with Halloween’s Phil Collins stadium gig.
A brilliant American import destroys a crap one.

Sorry I don’t post more on here.
There aren’t enough characters.
Bit like left wing politics really!

Literally crumbs from the rich man’s table. A square deal for serfs. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
In the most predictable move since John Lydon left the Sex Pistols, Zia Yusuf has quit as chair of Reform.
Cheers!
Nationalise it without compensation and tell Sid tough shit.

My new release is out now. One side is an early music version of the incredibly loved Korean song ‘Arirang’ . The other side is NK-Pop - my translation of a huge North Korean hit! open.spotify.com/album/2HChTV...
COUNCIL OF DESPAIR
I’m your new local councillor
And this is my proud boast
I’m going to stop the boats invade
The Staffordshire coast
I’ve got my own priorities
Right now, to be specific,
They are a trip to Wetherspoons
And getting paralytic
RUN THROUGH THE CORN
Run through the corn, folk of North Cheshire
Run through the corn like Theresa May
Run through the corn like they have in America
Hoodwinked and brainwashed by DEFORM UK
‘I don’t want to hear about what that bigot’s doing
I don’t want to go to where
Where that bigot’s going
He thinks he’s so clever
He thinks he’s so right
But he’s about as welcome
As an ice cream made of shite’

They’ll show you a flag and a picture of some immigrants
Then they’ll take our NHS, our welfare state, our rights
A flag for you to wave and some desperate folk to point at
Then England will turn dark ‘cos they’ve turned off all the lights
VALENTINES DAY EARLY MORNING POEM
Roses are red
Violets are blue
You need a wee wee
I need a poo
You can go upstairs
I shall go down
Yours will be yellow
Mine will be brown
BACK FOR 2025...
On air at 8pm on @radioreverb.bsky.social with guest @attilastockbroker.bsky.social
A look back on 2024; ahead to 2025, the story of how 'a bunch of Brighton punks & skinheads' nearly got to go on Top of the Pops in 2005.
And we pay tribute to Brighton's own Boring Bob Grover.
Currently planning loads more for next year in addition to those here: time for a heads up that if you’re intending to come to my Peterborough or Loughborough gigs next month they are, well, you know, but I’m not spelling it out because otherwise there’s a bot infestation, so get in quick 🙂
22 years ago today.
COMANDANTE JOE
I guess in quite a lot of ways I grew up just like you
A bolshy kid who didn’t think the way they told him to
You kicked over the statues, a roots rock rebel star
Who knew that punk was more than just the sound of a guitar..
Away in the rubble
A brick for a bed
The little Lord Jesus
Laid down his sore head
The bombs from the night sky
Rained down where he lay
His mother was weeping
The rest passed away
Now à Roundhead physically as well as politically and home with Robina, in very good hands. Thank you NHS. Brilliant, funny carers, all Filipinas. Farage, right wing press, bigoted idiots, evil racist social media sites - just do one.
It is a great album.
