This is why I was so stoked about my 8+. I thought it was something special and a new level of writing after many 7s.

When I had to write before work, I would make sure the next few scenes/pages were bullet pointed on the document. That was I could wake up and get to work. It was helpful and made me feel like I wasn't losing traction but I couldn't do it every day.

This week over at Writing and Whatnot, I wrote about general meetings and how not to screw them up. One of the worst meetings Shawna and I ever had ended up getting us a job. So every general matters...

Just like with LA, just like Chicago the "reason" those secret police are in the Cities is, to quote a Minnesotan friend, "horse shit". I am pissed off, sad, and exhausted, at the insanity that has occurred these past few... well...

Since I first traveled to Great River sixteen years ago, Minnesota has been one of my favorite states. It is home to some of the absolute greatest humans on the planet. They are kind, they are hardworking, they are the best humans. The Twin Cities are a delight.

I hope you meet someone who becomes a lovely part of your life
I hope you create something
I hope you live, not just survive
I hope you grow, though growing isn't always painless
I hope you help someone
I hope you are helped
I hope you love
I hope you know you are loved

l used to write these long poems about the year showing growth is a part of life. I just don't have enough reflection in me today.

But I hope you find poetry in your life next year
I hope you find beauty in the world

I do not have the words. I'm just... wow.

I've heard MULTIPLE folks say it stops them from going to support your shows and WE WANT to support your shows.

American Theatre Companies Big and Small: PLEASE STOP using AI Generated images to promote your shows. I know times are tough but you're saying it's alright if AI steals from these artists. I know budgets are tight. There are other ways to promote your shows.
