Writing is amazing. I’m really impressed with some of her pacing/format choices. The experience of actually reading is kind of intense, but I find that it’s when I take a break that the emotions really hit me.

I’m hand sewing the neckline on a knit romper because the angle of the V neck makes it awkward to tuck in the raw edges and it’s just easier to do by hand than on the machine. But ANYWAY it’s fussy - in an amazing way and in a tedious way, but even the tediousness is pretty cool.

I saw a baby be born (for the first time!!!!) this week as a volunteer doula at my local hospital. Mom was a total fucking CHAMP and I feel so grateful and privileged she allowed me to be present and offer her support.
