Oh, Brian Wilson. I saw his Pet Sounds tour in NYC and it was so wonderful. God only knows what we’d have done without his beautiful songs.

While listening to 1999, by Prince, 15YO commented on its similarities to Manic Monday by singing, β€œβ€¦ kissing Valentino by a crystal blue Italian stream…” knowing full well that Prince also wrote Manic Monday and my work as a parent might be done.

Has anyone self-published a novel and if so, do you want to chat about it with me? I would appreciate it so very much. Thank you.

Haven’t read this, but I read The Man Who Saw Everything a few years back. I remember it being odd. From the description of this book, maybe you need to read The New York Trilogy, by Paul Auster.

One of my favorite bands has a song called β€œWhy Do You Have to Put a Date on Everything” and the answer is, so when you’re cleaning out your mom’s fridge after your dad dies unexpectedly, you know which bags of frozen dumplings to toss.

ACTS OF LOVINGKINDNESS | Kirkus Reviews In Kentsis’ YA novel, a teenage girl wrestles with the highs and lows of first love.

My YA novel, Acts of Lovingkindness, got a stellar Kirkus Indie review! They called it β€œA realistic rendering of teen life and its tumults” and β€œβ€¦ a book that teens will enjoy, and one their parents should read along with them.” Still looking for an agent…
