NEW: Here's the story of a woman deported by Kristi Noem. Legally in the United States (as a DACA recipient), she is the mother of a U.S. citizen and was working to help the homelessβbut when she went for an appointment to get a green card, she was deported.

Literally as Iβm arguing with someone about whether AI companies are misleading people into believing their technology possesses God-like super-intelligence I see this monstrosity
It also really started to delve into women's roles in a thoughtful way. In a world where marriage is everything, what happens when one becomes a very young widow with no heir? Takes a lover as middle aged widow w/o wanting marriage? Chooses to be a spinster? Falls in love above one's station?
Those aspects had the same richness and depth of feeling, bittersweet heartbreak and moments of pure joy, that made "Queen Charlotte" extraordinary. So the Bridgerton series still has me on board. :) (3/3_
First half of S4 didn't grab me (Netflix, please stop releasing things in parts). But second half brought it all home. Francesca's storyline (no spoilers but oof), Violet figuring out who she is as her kids grow up and marry, the queen and Lady Danbury navigating a complicated friendship... (2/3)
Having just watched S4, the best most compelling moments, IMO, weren't the central romance (which was just fine, nothing more). But these characters have grown and become more complex over successive seasons and S4 really tapped into multiple relationships/themes. (1/3)
Would love a S2. Queen Charlotte is Bridgerton at its best (followed by S2). Why did it feel like βBridgertonβ Season 4 was teasing βQueen Charlotteβ Season 2? www.themarysue.com/why-did-it-f...

Kristi Noem has done a stunning amount of damage and itβs good sheβs gone.
But this doesnβt change the fact that we need a complete overhaul of DHS, impartial investigations into the killings of two American citizens, and information on children that were taken from Minnesota.

I'm so glad she wrote this. The portrayal of her in this series is, to me, indefensible. She deserves an apology from the filmmakers and FX.
And if you hear yourself saying you portrayed a real person (who's alive!) in a particular way to manipulate your audience, please go improve.
CLE has a long tradition of celebrating our large Irish community. As some have become more conservative, everyone should read this. As we celebrate and listen to the music this St. Patrick's Day, really listen to it. And act accordingly. The occupation may be coming for our neighbors here as well.
