We’ve got a friend in Wisconsin who said she wasn’t worried about potential cuts to Medicaid because she and her 3 kids don’t need it - they’re on BadgerCare. She was stunned when I told her they were all on Medicaid.
Protecting people from shame by renaming MA has definite downsides.
Housing is consistently polling as the most important issue among voters in most states, including Massachusetts.
