With a celebration of Dorset in Parliament this week 🇬🇧✨, it was a pleasure to meet the wonderful Wimborne Militia.

Founded just before the turn of the century, the Militia have a ceremonial role, keeping the Mayor and Town Councillors safe, as well as keeping good order in the town! 🛡️🎖️👏

Summer after summer, neighbourhood police officers across Bournemouth East are redeployed to the seafront, leaving areas like Charminster, Boscombe, and Springbourne feeling under-served and vulnerable.

Including, but certainly not limited to, a bus connecting Bournemouth to Bournemouth Airport.

Great to be on BBC Sunday Politics discussing the need for an accessible Pokesdown Station, the flooding affecting my constituents, and the rollout of our new Sure Start centres ❤️🙏

It was was a real pleasure to come together with the community to talk about rebuilding the much-loved bridge crossing Holloways Dock at Hengistbury Head.

The community want to rebuild the bridge in a way that protects wildlife, respects the landscape, and supports people.

In Bournemouth East, public servants who gave decades to serving others are being let down by a broken system.

When outsourcing fails, there needs to be accountability.
