Laughton was an amazing actor.One could make strong case for him being the best ever.Whenever "Hunchback" is on TCM,I try to watch/PVR it.Laughton's Quasimodo is a performance almost beyond belief. One can't see any hint of Laughton at all.He so buries himself in the role that there's only Quasimodo

Paul Newman famously played "Billy "( "Left Handed Gun"). But,tho he may have portrayed someone called "Henry",I can't recall it🙂. But,to be fair,both Richard Burton and Charles Laughton turned in memorable performances as Henry VIII(who was memorable for all wrong reasons).Laughton won Oscar for it

I think GJR makes a good point. Many(incl me) thought the overturning of Roe v Wade would lead to a massive female wave that would sweep Harris into the White House. It didn't happen. She DID get more support from women voters than Trump. But it was far from a wave. Far too many women voted for him
