AI coders do very well on Zig, much better imho that Python or Typesript.

Its harder for them to make mistakes, except the odd memory problem and versioning as it still updating.

I'm not a rust fan myself, but both seem to great agent languages afaict

Its a form of RLE which was also used later on to improve sprite performance on PC. Rather than store the sprite image, you store instructions of runs of data + skips.

Yep it took less RAM to draw it than just store a picture.

I can remember the Spectrum game The Hobbit did such a slow flood fill, you could see it do it for each line and slow down on long stretches to fill :)
