I’ve been realizing more and more that I’m struggling with one-sided friendships and collabs. For me, things like hanging out, streaming together, or collaborating should feel mutual. (1 / 7)

This isn’t meant as a call-out or an attempt to be disrespectful toward anyone. I just wanted to be honest about how these situations have made me feel, and about what I value moving forward: mutual effort, communication, and respect.

That’s completely fine in itself, but it sometimes felt discouraging when I wasn’t invited along or included, especially when it felt closely tied to ideas or spaces I had originally shared.

I’ve noticed similar feelings in other situations too. For example, in the past when I ran Cobblemon servers and invited people to hang out, I later saw friends starting their own servers or spaces to do similar things.

But I’ve also noticed that I’m rarely the one being invited to hang out, stream, or join things unless I initiate first. Over time, that starts to feel a bit unbalanced.

I’ve noticed that if I don’t reach out or initiate, I often don’t hear from people for weeks, and that’s been weighing on me.
I genuinely don’t mind being the one to organize streams or reach out ( I actually enjoy doing that).
