Not just a child, but an historically and culturally illiterate child. Those thousands of years ignore the 7th century conquest of "Iran" by the caliphate and the defeat of the Sassanian Empire - the "Empire of the Iranians" - which includes modern day Iran and Iraq.

Arguably the most beloved contemporary Iranian novel (and series) is "My Uncle Napoleon", in which the titular Uncle blames the British Empire for absolutely everything that goes wrong, but it speaks to a larger point about Iranian memory of British interference in Persia.

Competition regulations only allow away sides to have 15% of the total tickets issued OR of the maximum, so that number is the maximum allocation permitted for Wolves.
There's also an absolute ceiling of 9,000 - so it would be lower than 15% at Old Trafford.

And our pre-season starts less than a week after the World Cup final.
The lads are enjoying an extended vacation in the US then.

The point is in the degree of control and outcome. The UK can continue to not impose those barriers to trade without any pushback/blowback/consequences from other parties. Trump can continue to control how much or little he bombs Iran, but he can't control what Iran does next or happens in the ME.

He's not saying they weren't damaging, but that some of the consequences haven't been as damaging as they *could have been* based on control. The UK has mitigated some of the Brexit trade consequences by not implementing the controls it could have - i.e. it would be worse *but for* this.

The audition in which he went an entire league season undefeated is likely to count for significantly more than two games in which one team came up against an opposition with a wage bill approximately 4.5 times the size, and the other was a team he arguably shouldn't have joined in the first place.

The fact that there's been no serious discussion about extending a coach who has only one season left on his contract leads me to believe this has gone beyond "wait and see" territory and that regardless of what might still be achieved - Europe, weirdly, is more viable - he'll be gone in the summer.

I'm (overly) optimistic as a football fan, but reading the prediction in The Athletic that #lfc will win eight and drawn two of their remaining league games is, on the face of it, beyond any reasonable assessment.

Worth noting for obvious reasons that Persian New Year - Nowruz - starts in 2.5 weeks. As it stands the US fully intends its bombing campaign to continue through what would ordinarily be one of the largest celebrations in the country, and last year involved in excess of 36 million internal trips.

For those wondering why the ref immediately stopped play to show a second yellow card to Neto, he would not have been able to show a second yellow card had he allowed the advantage to be played.
See "interfered with or stopped a promising attack" in the image.

Nope. If the ref plays an advantage and the offence is interfering with or stopping a promising attack, the player isn't shown a YC.
Whether it was better for Arsenal or not to play the advantage is a good question, but he could only have show the 2YC immediately in that situation.
