Adwell and Merrik are walking along chatting. Adwell is talking about how much he needs to get done, and a van drives past, covering him head to toe in muddy water. Merrik is trying hard not to laugh at this.
Adwell is calling Merrik out for laughing. Merrik tries SO HARD to not lose it, but fails. Adwell is so stressed now, so Merrik agrees to help him get all his chores done. Adwell gives him a hug, but Merrik complains about him being muddy.
Little montage of ~domestication~ ending with Adwell sleeping on the sofa, and Merrik making him a hot drink and leaving a note (it's cursive and says 'see you tomorrow?)
Merrik is alone at the park under a tree, with a picnic. The caption reads 'maybe tomorrow'. FWIW this is supposed to be the next day and he's waiting. (I reckon Adwell turned up ;) )
Aaahaha oh this is a DEEP dive into the backlog grab-bag. I made this for a friends birthday, it's her demon-possessed priest OC Adwell Morris and my OC Merrik but in his Entervoid iteration (which I've been sharing more of lately). I really loved drawing this. These two were great on-page together.
