Yeah, that seems a good guess. But hard to believe no one thought of that...

Itβs obviously early in the year, but 2026 is already on track to be the year with the highest number of drone sightings reported by German air traffic control.
False alarm! CAFFA seem to have been relocated to another anchor spot.
CAFFA, conspicuous vessel boarded 5h ago, is on the move eastwards. SE Coastguard 4 km away west, stationary.
From AIS it looks like Swedish authorities have let the de facto Russian ship go.

βDisarmβ in the display is not weapons-related, right?
I realized the other week and stopped.
A month ago :->>>>>
It has recently shipped stolen grain, but there have been indications of arms transports as well, do not remember which/how certain right now.
And of course it could be any other old cargo. But it is not a run of the mill vessel.
Minister Bohlins choice of words are highly interesting as well. Smelling of more to come.
General cargo (stolen grain) vessel CAFFA was boarded by Swedish Coast Guard and police special forces 3 hours ago. Reason stated: false flag.
Now drifting south of Trelleborg, south Sweden. Company: SE coast guard vessels
Background below.
Seemingly changed an hour ago
BREAKING: Swedish Coastguard have diverted general cargo CAFFA on itβs way to Russia
Spoof I think, she looks to be idling and got teleported
A false flagged, sanctioned tanker, loaded with oil in St Petersburg area, is humming along happily in souther Baltic Sea on her way to a customer with $12M of crude (price cap estimate, low ball).
Lawless, seemingly with no law being applied.
Yesterday saw uniquely intense airborne intelligence collection around Kaliningrad as UK Royal Air force flew 2 back-to-back 6 hour missions with one Rivet Joint.
This is unprecedented. Acc to MeNMyRC1 (@x, former pilot of said aircraft type).
I aint not pipeline expert but it seems hard to conquer a pipe unless one gets the whole straw?
I'm interested in the charts that show the numbers of missiles and drones launched by Iran each day, but I haven't seen one yet that mentions the provenance of the data so I haven't amplified them. (There are so many dashboards now.)
Somewhere in the Bsky AT Protocol firehose right now, an analyst in πͺπͺ is posting something worth reading. In Estonian. With a source link. No #s
It will never surface. I'm trying to fix that

Back in the #OSINT game. Follow along
2h prior to French carrier Charles de Gaulle entering Baltic Sea Swedish authorities reported fresh GPS-interference in her path
The interference is centered at one, if not the, densest area of shipping in the world, Γresund north entry
About 100 ship pass this 3km bottleneck/d
Jokes aside, this is very similar to how I have used my tablet-based plotter software.
Take bearings with compass/binoculars. Enter as lines in software. See if they intersect where GPS thinks we are.
Also used as a way of just making sure what one looks at actually is what one believes from chart
They needed port for logistical reasons and maybe the other feasible ports (Gothenburg comes to mind) were booked or impractical for some other reason.
No, but triangle people are keeping it to themselves :-)
While possible I find it unlikely NATO/SE/DK would endanger civilians like that. To add, collision risk increase.
I find the numerous Russian vessels close by (or their agents ashore) much more likely culprits.
Dover strait is definitely busier than Γresund, with ~500 ships daily. But it is also about 3-4 times wider and does not have three ferry lines crossing west-east every 5-10 minutes.
Some real mariner will have to be the judge which is worse =)
Swedish maritime authorities broadcasted/published this warning 1128UTC Feb 24. CDG passed the position ca 1330U.
The interference is not evident in the replay and I have not independently verified it.

- could be positioned to trail French Navy aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle (R91) when/if it enters the Norwegian Sea
Allegedly the swedish naval #SIGINT vessel #Orion #A201 to be retained after commissioning of newbuilding #Artemis
