I have my reasons for being such a stickler about driving safety, and Will’s response irks me. I’m not making any comment on the right wing article, I’m making my own individual comment on why I believe his response was wrong

People drive in unfamiliar territory every day, I did it last week. People make mistakes while driving, but saying: “well actually someone was talking to me, I didn’t know it was a one way because I’ve never been there before, oh and also it was before dawn” isn’t a good response

I think the better response would’ve been apologizing for not being a responsible driver WITHOUT listing 3+ reasons for why it’s actually not entirely your fault
