Flatpak is not the default option - exult has just been added to flatpak this month. And while I‘m probably listed there I have not much knowledge about it 🤷♂️
And may need help with adjusting the docs for this 🤪

Very happy to say Lord British, Richard Garriott @richardgarriott.bsky.social gave his blessing for Ultima 8 Exult. This means a lot to us because, even though he may not own the rights to Ultima right now, he is still its creator. To know he's both aware of us and supportive means the world!

A calvin and hobbes meme explaining that all RPGs can be traced back to Ultima and Wizardry in 1981. Every game is either a play on ultima or wizardry. This extends to JRPGs because Dragon's Quest was influenced by Ultima and all dungeon crawlers are based on Wizardyr. Elder Scrolls is a Wizardry and Baldur's Gate is an Ultima. Wizardry was so popular in Japan it persisted for years exclusively in Japan as its own sub franchise before Digital Extremes remastered the series. SMT is a wizardry. Most Atlus and Xseed Dungeon Crawlers are.
