Why telling you all this ? Just as a reminder to cherish your loved ones, that you can chose who is your family and build strong connections and that no one knows what tomorrow will be made of and to enjoy the present (even more in the current political situation).
This person has become my chosen family and I would really like for her to be on bluesky so she could read all the good I think about her (don't worry I tell her very often).
She is going through difficult time currently and it was the perfect timing to see each other as we don't live close...

Last sunday was the 19th anniversary of my mom's death which happened 3 months before my dad's death (what a year!). As I am an only child, you can imagine it left a huge void at 22yo
But I was with a friend I have known for 25 years which is longer than I have ever known my parents...

A bit more than one year ago, I realised that buying miniatures had become for me a coping mechanism and decided to instead tackle the issues behind it.
And so I have not bought any new miniature in one year. And I am proud of myself

I made this dioriam for an art show at work.
The theme is movement so I tried to create an illusion of movement with immibile miniature.
It was a fun challenge
