#GladiatorII was big, brash and bonkers. I had a lot of fun with the bloodbath and more unhinged moments. Occasional gorgeous imagery. An award-worthy Denzel Washington and the mad emperors were highlights. Mixed feelings on Mescal in some moments but overall thought he brought the pathos needed.
