I see YT’s doing yet more things to confuse, scare, and harm video creators. Another day, another reminder that the relationship between YouTuber and YouTube is an abusive one.
If you’re privileged enough to be doing well on YT, use the success while you have it to build a life somewhere else.
You are not Making a Difference there. You are not Fighting the Good Fight. You are not even Maintaining a Community you couldn't easily replicate elsewhere.
You are propping up a right-wing site and, worse, you are being warped by your constant exposure to it and you don't even realize it.
